Practice what you teach

Ma’am De Araujo

Over the course of the holidays, Our very own Ma’am De Araujo went above and beyond and took part in an Interprovincial hockey tournament with close to 300 participants but ended up being recognised and chosen to represent the South African countryside hockey team. From leading the kids on the astros to setting an example in her own league. What’s even more remarkable is her undeniable dedication and commitment to teaching kids. “Always putting in the extra effort will bring results in the end,” she says, encouraging each and every learner with a dream of playing at a higher level to always stay dedicated and to put in the extra hours of their craft and it will, “take you far”.

Mr du Preez

Mr du Preez did not only lead the U/14’s through undefeated victory throughout their entire rugby season, but competed in his own division demonstrating his exceptional skills on and off the field. Over the course of the holidays Mr du Preez and the Mpumalanga Country Districts placed 4th at the South African Country District Hockey Tournament. His dedication and leadership had created a triumphing culture within the sports teams.

We applaud our coaches on their successes and look forward to the future achievements.
