Our musical Trio alongside the Penryn Junior Marimba band leave behind spectacular performances at the Eisteddfod.
Our Beautiful Trio consisting of the likes of Simukhonze Mdluli, Sinhle Mona and Tendai Nkambule had an astonishing performance at the Nelspruit national Eisteddfod performing the song “I Am Tired".This trio had such a glamorous performance with their voices blending in perfect harmony, bringing back home an A++ and 98 points.
We then had individual performances with Simukhonze Mdluli had rocked his heart out on the drumset displaying his most impressive skills, hitting the snares and cymbals and receiving an A++ of 96 points.
The Penryn Marimba band who performed the songs “Bela Ciao” and "Still Dre" .This band truly outshined the rest , playing and performing perfectly resulting to an A+++ on 100 points. The striking gumboot outfits and their lively spirit created a performance that was truly unforgettable. Their impeccable technique and keen sense of spatial sound captivated the judges completely.
We would like to congratulate each and every performer who has participated in the annual National Eisteddfod competition and continue to honour, cherish and place our pride in them!
